Who should attend?

This event is open to all governance professionals, including corporate secretaries, GCs, board secretaries and clerks, from around the world interested in practicing modern governance. The sessions will be a mix of product education and best practice-sharing around board meeting, agenda and entity management. We will have a dedicated thought leadership track with sessions specifically designed for those interested in taking a deep dive into the latest board governance trends.

Is there a fee to attend?

The fee to attend will be displayed during the registration process, as it varies based on your registration type. To ensure you are paying the lowest fee possible, make sure to register by Friday, May 1 for the early-bird registration rate. Registration includes all meals and entertainment. Accommodations are not included in the fee.

How can I register?

When does the conference start and end?

The conference will kick-off Wednesday, September 16, with breakfast and registration at 8:00 AM, followed by our opening keynote and sessions throughout the afternoon. The conference concludes on Friday, September 18 at 12:00 PM. For those who register for pre-conference workshops, sessions begin at 1pm on Tuesday, September 15. Pre-conference sessions may come at an additional fee for registrants and will be available to register for when the agenda is released.

Where can hotel accommodations be made and what is the cost?

The official conference hotel is the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. You can book online to receive our group discount. To be eligible for the group rate, you must register by Monday, August 23. Will the conference hotel room rate be extended beyond the conference dates?

Group rates will be extended three days pre- and post-conference and pending availability. Contact the Hyatt Regency directly to coordinate extending your stay either through our booking site or by calling +1-504-561-1234.

May guests attend the conference?

The conference is limited to registered attendees. Guests 21+ will be able to attend our offsite reception on Thursday night, but will not be able to join for any other parts of the event unless formally registered.

When will the final agenda be posted and where can it be found?

The full conference agenda will be released in May and can be found on the conference website at All registrants will receive notifications via email as sessions become available. The agenda is customizable, allowing you to choose the sessions that you are most interested in attending. If you need to modify your sessions, you can do so my clicking on Already Registered, logging into your registration profile with your confirmation number and clicking on Modify Registration.

What will the agenda include?

The agenda will include more than 95 sessions packed with thought leadership, product deep-dives and real-world applications of better governance, plus attendees will have the chance to learn directly from their peers and build meaningful relationships with fellow governance professionals from across the country. In addition to our core sessions, we will be hosting pre-conference sessions on Tuesday, September 15 before the conference officially begins. The pre-conference sessions are meant to be hands-on product workshops and may come at an additional fee. More details on the speakers and sessions will be announced as they are confirmed.

What is the cancellation policy?

In the case you need to cancel your registration, you can do so by clicking on Already Registered, logging into your registration profile with your confirmation number and clicking on Cancel Registration. You will receive a full refund for your registration if cancelled by August 31. Beginning September 1, no refunds will be provided.
