Diligent Corporation Honored With Three Stevie® Awards in 2016 American Business AwardsSM
Chief Customer Officer Jeff Hilk named Customer Service Executive of the Year
NEW YORK – May 3, 2016 – Diligent Corporation was named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award for Customer Service Team of the Year and a Silver Stevie® Award for Customer Service Department of the Year in the 14th Annual American Business Awards yesterday. This marks the fourth consecutive Gold Stevie® win for its Customer Service Team by Diligent. Chief Customer Officer Jeff Hilk also won a Gold Stevie® Award for Customer Service Executive of the Year.
The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. More than 3,400 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year and Marketing Campaign of the Year, among others. All organizations operating in the United States are eligible to submit nominations.

Hilk has been with Diligent since 2011 and in that time has grown out an award-winning customer service and support team of more than 75 employees. In 2015, Diligent grew to over 100,000 users in more than 45 countries and, as a result, its support call volume grew more than 20%. However, more than 99% of 74,000 calls received were immediately picked up by a support staff member and fewer than 90 required a call back.
More than 250 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.
“The judges were extremely impressed with the quality of entries we received this year. The competition was intense and every organization that has won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek name Stephen, meaning “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Monday, June 20.
